Ventolin is used to manage symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in adults and children over the age of 18. It is also used to reduce the risk of pneumonia in children and adolescents after cardiac surgery.

Ventolin is a bronchodilator that works by relaxing the muscles in the airways of the lungs to allow easier breathing.
